My name is Roni Mero, and I am a doctoral candidate at the Technivan Institute. The Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning. The focus of my research is on the technological mapping of marginal communities in urban areas. It is possible and desirable to use technology systems in order to include residents who have been excluded from the Japanese and from control and management of the city to this point. My main area of research is in the field of graphic design of cartography as a tool for the disclosure of information within the world of visual communication. It would be my pleasure to become a member of your research community.
Thank you for your message and for sharing the focus of your research. We would be pleased to have you as a member of our Working Group. We will send you an invitation for our next meeting shortly. We look forward to your participation!
Hi. I am a tactile images designer. Among other things, I and my colleague (who is blind) draw different types of maps for people with a visual impairment (https://www.insei.fr/ressources/banque-dimages-du-sdadv). We have a roundtrip process which enables us to fit (as far as we can) the need of blind readers. Maps are produced on swelling paper or using resin. Our department (department of adapted documents for the visually impaired) belongs to the French higher institute for inclusive education. In subscribing to your group, we may share best practices in designing maps.
